Lettuce Wrapped Bison Burgers (Paleo-Friendly)

Last night, I had an insatiable craving for bison (I know…weird, right?!?). So what’s a girl to do but make delicious, lettuce wrapped bison burgers?! This meal is sure to please any hungry carnivore!

If you haven’t tried bison or buffalo meat, you are missing out! Bison (grass-fed) is a great alternative to beef when you are looking for a lean, flavorful burger. Grass-fed bison is loaded with high quality omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E. Grass-fed bison is also lower in fat and higher in protein than traditionally grain fed bison and ground beef! This lean, nutrient dense meat has an incredibly rich flavor that you will love!

Valentine’s Day Dinner

Last night, my sweetie and I shared a beautiful meal of filet mignon Oscar-style paired with asparagus roasted with garlic, lemon, and herbs. We had originally planned to include herb-roasted potatoes covered in a lemon cream sauce (which would have complemented the steak VERY nicely), but alas, were forced to substitute linguine in the same sauce since we didn’t have enough potatoes. Fortunately, the lemon cream sauce was so damn delicious that it didn’t seem to matter what we put it on, with the singular condition that whatever we put it on went immediately into our mouths. Simply-put, the flavor is incredible. You’re going to want to try this…
